The Right Time
“I am waiting for the right time”, that’s the excuse most us use to procrastinate and to run away from the things which we want to accomplish. Is “The right time” really exists or is just a myth? Do you believe in “Right things happen at the right time”? , “If time and tides wait for none then why we wait for the time?”. I had these questions in my mind, Since, I also use the same excuse to postpone my work. A month back I realized the answers for these questions and it was not too late.
So,in the beginning of this year I made list of “to do” which I wanted to accomplish within the year end.I make this list every year and I never accomplished even half of them which is a well known story. This year I wanted twist in that tale. Do you think I achieved all of them? The answer is big no.All of them were sleeping happily in my Google keep note until November because I was waiting for the so called “Right Time”. What happened in November? And what change it made?
First week of November, I opened my Google keep app for making list of “To do” for 2018 😀. I am really good only in making list and I never forgot to make one for every year. So,when I opened the app, I experienced an epiphany. I realized the fact that I was not able to accomplish none of the item from my 2017 to do list and all of them were unchecked. That demotivated me, so I did an retrospect of 10 completed months of this year and found a reason why I was not able to accomplish none of them even though they are realistic goals. And the reason was “I was waiting for the right time” which never came in past 10 months. Though the right time failed to help, Newton helped me. Yes sir Isaac Newton.
He framed some three laws. I am not sure if they are working well in science but they work well in life. Whenever you face any problem, you can relate to any of those laws blind folded. And believe me they help. This time I related my problem to his first law of motion : “Object in rest, stays in rest untill acted upon by an external force”. Voila! I found my problem and the solution too. My problem was I left my goals in rest state and they were happily enjoying. The solution is an external force, “A trigger” which will make them to work, which will invoke them from their rest state. Now, I got my problem and solution in hand,So I went ahead and solved it. I set one trigger for each of my goals and believe me it worked. In one month I was able to achieve many of them. I would like to share few of them with their trigger :
And the list goes on.In the past month I was able to achieve most of my goals and I realized “The right time” never exists, all you need is “ DD”. Dedication and a Driving factor(Trigger😀) to accomplish what you want.
P.S : Always, remember Newton’s laws of motion. They solve most of our life problems.
P.S.S:Are you progressing towards making “To do” list and running out of ideas? You can definitely contact me because am good only at making the list.

- Run daily - Registered for half marathon
- Exercise regularly- Bought an expensive cloth in one size smaller than my original sizer
- Draw and write frequently - Created handles in social media to share them. Atleast to post regularly in those I started writing and drawing frequently 😋
- Wake up,sleep and eat (healthy) on time - If I accomplish this I will gift myself my dream DSLR.
